Chandigarh, January 29
The 28-year-old patient, who was admitted to the PGI here on Monday, has been tested negative for coronavirus.

A resident of Mohali, the patient was admitted to the communicable diseases ward (isolation ward). He had complained of fever, headache and uneasiness after returning from China on January 22.
The PGI spokesperson said the patient’s throat swab, which was sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune, had tested negative for the novel coronavirus. He was discharged in the evening. — TNS
