The Mohali Municipal Corporation has started patch work on the main roads in the city. The work would be completed in two months.
The patch work on the main roads in two zones would be carried out at a cost of Rs45 lakh. The work was earlier stopped due to rains.
Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu stated this while inaugurating the work of laying paver blocks in Sector 70 here today. Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi was also present.
Addressing the gathering, the Mayor said he was committed for the development of entire Mohali and road works worth crores of rupees had been passed, especially for new and industrial sectors.
