Mohali MC office to stay open on weekend for depositing house tax

To enable city residents to pay the house tax, the Mohali Municipal Corporation (MC) has decided to keep its offices open on September 26 and 27 (government holidays).

Announcing this, MC Commissioner Dr Kamal Kumar Garg said as the last date (September 30) for depositing the house tax with 10 per cent concession was nearing, more and more people were visiting the MC office to deposit the same.

He said six counters had been set up in the MC for depositing the tax in view of the pandemic. — TNS
