Mohali: Night curfew relaxed

In view of Janmashtami celebrations in the district, the administration today decided to relax curfew timings for two more hours to enable people pay obeisance in temples.
District Magistrate Girish Dayalan said as per the guidelines of the state government night curfew was being observed from 11 pm to 5 am in the district. He said in partial relaxation of these directions, it has been decided that night curfew during the night of August 12 and August 13 would be from 1 am to 5 am on account of Janmashtami. However, this relaxation is only for one night. — TNS
