Mohali on Friday reported one death and 78 new COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, 25 recoveries were also recorded in the district today, taking the number of cured patients to 884.
The single death reported was of a 97-year-old man from Aerocity. He also suffered from multiple comorbidities such as diabetes and stroke.
With the addition of 78 new cases, the caseload in the district has climbed to 1,683.
Mohali has 768 active cases with 31 deaths.
