Mohali reported 12 more coronavirus cases on Wednesday, taking the district tally to 456.

Four women from Sohana ages 23, 23, 24 and 27, one 27-year-old man and 31-year-old woman from Phase 9, a 32-year-old man from Phase 10, a 30-year-old man from Phase 1, a 52-year-old man from Kharar’s GTB Nagar, a 40-year-old woman from Mohali’s Paradise Apartments, a 29-year-old woman from Sector 71 and a 52-year-old woman from Kharar all tested positive, officials said.

Eight people were released from the hospital after they made full recovery. Mohali now has 160 active cases. Nine people have died so far in the district.
