Wearing masks, they raised slogans against the MC as well as the AAP government for creating unhygienic conditions in and around the residential area. “Mounds of garbage keep lying here for weeks, emitting foul smell on rainy days. No regular cleaning is done here. Garbage keeps spilling on the road,” said Rupinder Singh, from the RWA, Phase 5.

Local residents said despite promises, neither the MC Commissioner nor the Mayor had been able to resolve the issue.
