The event aimed to sensitise Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) about government schemes, financial assistance and technology-driven initiatives designed to boost their efficiency and competitiveness.

Lokesh Jain, convener, Regional MSME Committee, PHDCCI, underlined the need for awareness and continuous support for MSMEs to fully benefit from various government programmes.

He termed the RAMP initiative a significant step by the Centre to empower the MSME sector — the true backbone of the national economy.

Bharti Sood, Senior Regional Director, PHDCCI, welcomed dignitaries and participants, highlighting PHDCCI’s ongoing efforts in promoting MSME growth through training and outreach.

She explained that the RAMP Programme, supported by the World Bank and the Ministry of MSME, aims to strengthen the MSME ecosystem by improving access to technology, finance and market opportunities.

Key speakers included Mohit, Additional Director, MSME-DFO Ludhiana; Nibhay Gargya, Director, NCG Corporate Engineers; Pramod Kumar Mishra, Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited; and Shiv Shankar Kumar, Co-Convener, Regional Banking and Financial Services Committee, PHDCCI. They shared insights on government schemes, renewable energy, technology adoption and financing tools for MSMEs.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment. Bharti Sood reaffirmed PHDCCI’s commitment to strengthening the regional MSME sector through sustained collaboration, awareness and capacity-building initiatives.
