National Lok Adalat in Panchkula on Sept 14

A National Lok Adalat will be organised on the District and Sessions Court premises here on September 14.

Officials said family matters, cases under the MACT and the Negotiable Instruments Act, violation of traffic rules and others would be taken up during the event.

Ajay Kumar Ghanghas, CJM-and-DLSA secretary, said the National Lok Adalat would be held under the guidance of SP Singh, Member Secretary, Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula, and Ved Prakash Sirohi, District and Sessions Judge and DLSA chairman.

Ghanghas said Benches would be constituted in the District Court and the subdivisional court in Kalka. He said help desk would also be set up in front of the litigation hall on the District Courts Complex and in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner where paralegal volunteers would be deployed.
