As many as 120 students of Nav Kaksha presented a dance drama at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18. Chandigarh MP Manish Tiwari  was the chief guest. Justice KS Grewal attended the event as the guest of honour. The other philanthropic members of Hamari Kaksha also attended the event. Sarita Tiwari, the co-founder of the trust, apprised the audience of the journey and achievements of Hamari Kaksha.

The key highlight of the event was a dance drama based on the story of 'Tota Kahani' by Ravinder Nath Tagore. The dance drama showcased by underprivileged students brought to the light that how the old education system due to its rigid curriculum chained the creativity of students. It ended on a positive note that the present education system aimed at providing wings to every single child and took care of its holistic development.

Hamari Kaksha was started as an after-school programme in 2003 by Dr Anuradha Sharma and Sarita Tiwari under the motto ‘potential unlimited’. It started with just seven students and grew in 100s. It aims at providing safe structured activities that convene regularly in the hours after school to help children learn new skills and develop into responsible adults.
