NCB sleuths nab two with opium, charas

Two persons have been nabbed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) with opium and charas. They had hidden the narcotics in a cavity created in their Swift car.
NCB officials said they had secret information regarding smuggling on December 16, following which surveillance was put on the Saha-Ambala road and two miscreants riding a Swift car was stopped.
During checking, NCB sleuths recovered 4.8 kg of opium and 500 gm of charas, which were hidden in a special cavity made in the door of the car. The suspects are residents of Ratangarh Kakrali in Kurukshetra.
A preliminary inquiry revealed that the contraband was brought from Uttarakhand and being taken to Haryana.
