Neelam wins 18-hole event in golf tourney
Neelam Garg won the ladies (18-hole) event with a score of 37 during the Medal Round Golf Meet organised by the Chandigarh Golf Club. Harinder Grewal claimed the second position with a score of 37. The Straightest Drive event was won by Surinder Pal Singh and Arun Kumar Verma, while the Closest to Pin event was won by Col GS Gill. HS Kang won the Longest Drive event.
In the men’s above 75 years (9-hole) event, Maj Gen Manmohan Singh claimed the top podium position with a score of 21, while Brig ZS Khosa claimed second position with a score of 20. In the Handicap (19-24) event Sandeep Singh Dhanoa (35) and Gen Gurdeep Singh (33) claimed the top two positions, respectively, and in the Handicap (10-18) event, Balwant Brar (40) and Randeep Singh Chonker (38) secured top two positions, respectively. Col Ajaytaj Singh (35) won the Handicap (0-9) event, followed by Col IS Bains (34) at second position. Kulwaran Singh (75) was the overall gross winner of the event.
