Nehal steers Gallant Academy to win
Mohali: Nehal Pajni scored a quickfire 177 off 123 to help Gallant Cricket Academy, Panchkula, register an easy 144-run win over Royal Cricket Academy, Chandigarh, in the 1st Smt Krishna Devi Memorial U-23 Cricket Tournament. Batting first, Gallant Cricket Academy scored 393/2 in 40 overs. Pajni’s innings was supported by Akshdeep Singh, who also scored 112 runs. Arun Jaglan (43) and Anmol (42) were the other two main scorers for the side. In reply, Royal Cricket Academy were bowled out for 249 runs in 33.5 overs. Jashan Beniwal scored 102 runs and while Janu Singh scored 67 runs. Mohit Soni and Pajni claimed three wickets each. TNS
