The police booked a Lohgarh youth for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl today. The suspect, Rahul, who is the victim’s neighbour, is absconding.

On a statement of her mother, the police registered a protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) case.

The police said Rahul raped the girl when she and her younger brother (4) were at home and their parents had gone for work.
