Punjab Civil Services 2014-batch officer Damandeep Kaur assumed charge of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mohali Sub-Division, on Tuesday.

The SDM said anyone having grievance related to the Mohali Sub-Division could contact her in the office. Earlier, Kaur had served as SDM, Amritsar 1 and 2, Joint Commissioner, Mohali Municipal Corporation, Chief Manager, Markfed, and Additional Chief Administrator (Policy and Headquarters), Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
