New underpass brings relief to Pkula-Shimla highway users
A long-standing traffic hurdle on the Panchkula-Shimla highway has finally been addressed with the opening of a crucial underpass near Amravati Enclave. Theinfrastructure upgrade is set to significantly reduce congestion, benefiting not only daily commuters but also residents from around 50 villages and a large number of tourists.
The underpass is designed to facilitate seamless vehicular movement, minimising delays that were previously common, especially during peak tourist seasons.
