NFC, Mahadev Club clinch titles

The women’s softball team of the NFC Club defeated Striker Club 04-00 to win the first position, on the concluding day of the 43rd Chandigarh Senior State Softball Championship, at the Manimajra Sports Complex today. The GCG Club (II) claimed the third position by positing a marginal 03-02 win over Mission Club.

Earlier, in the semi-finals, Striker Club defeated GCG Club 08-01, while BNFC Club posted 11-00 win over Sports Mission Club.

In the men’s final match, Mahadev Club clinched the championship by posting a stunning 01-00 win over Striker Club 01-00. Mahadev Club had reached the final by defeating Friends Club 03-01, while Striker Club defeated Sports Mission Club 06-04. Friends Club claimed the third position by posting a 04-00 win over Sports Mission Club.
