NIPER organises global alumni meet

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) here organised its first Global Alumni Meet on December 21 and 22.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Director Dulal Panda, Dean Tikoo, first doctoral student of NIPER Anurag Sood and president of the Alumni Association Ashutosh Kumar.

Professor Panda inaugurated the NIPER Alumni website, a platform aimed at empowering and connecting alumni from across the world.

The first panel discussion focused on innovation in pharma and biotech, with alumni discussing the present trends and future of breakthroughs in the field.

At the second panel discussion, titled “Our Alumni, Our Pride”, entrepreneurs discussed worldwide market and regulatory realities, as well as the relevance of entrepreneurship in the pharmaceutical industry.

The second day began with the third panel discussion, which focused on how alumni can foster greatness at NIPER by identifying gaps and developing a future roadmap for the association.
