No Apni Mandi in Mohali, Kharar till March 31

All Apni Mandies, held in Kharar and Mohali, have been banned till March 31 due to coronavirus threat. Orders in this regard were issued here today.

Notably, the Kharar Market Committee controls Apni Mandis. As many as 16 such Mandis are arranged every week in Kharar and Mohali. As there is no market committee in Mohali the whole area falls under the Kharar Market Committee.

As per information, Apni Mandi is held at Dushera Ground in Mohali on every Saturday and at Sunny Enclave in Kharar on every Sunday. Similarly, two Apni Mandis are held daily at different places in Mohali. Many people purchase vegetables from these Apni Mandis. Now, all Apni Mandis have been banned till March 31.
