The UT police are still grappling to make a breakthrough in the molestation cases of a woman journalist and a 19-year-old girl.

On December 9, a journalist was molested during a morning walk at the PU’s botanical garden and a 19-year old girl was molested in a forest area near PEC while she was on way to her institute.

The investigating team once again took the description of the molester from the woman journalist. The police said the detailed description of the molester, including his appearance, could be helpful in identifying similar suspects. The police continued their search in the nearby areas, including Dhanas, Sarangpur, Dadu Majra Colony and Nayagaon. The sketch of the molester is also shown to the shopkeepers in the area. — TNS
