The cave-in left a 10-foot-deep pit on the slip road posing a threat to commuters. There were massive snarl-ups at the Sector 34 roundabout, which is one of the busiest chowks of the city, as the traffic lights were switched off. The cops had a tough time managing the traffic.

Surendra Kumar, a local resident, said he got late for the office because of traffic chaos at the Sector 34 roundabout.
