Now, Chandigarh Administrator’s nod must for deputation, relieving of staff

The recruitment rules, appointment and relieving of employees on a deputation in the UT will be decided by the Chandigarh Administrator.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, UT Administration, on the order of the UT Administrator, a partial modification has been made in a notification issued on May 12, 2020.

Now, the cases for framing and amendments of service rules or recruitment rules in respect of all Group A, B, and C posts and services have to be submitted to the Administrator for approval. Similarly, the Administrator’s nod has to be sought before initiating the process of appointment of government employees on a deputation and their relieving from the Chandigarh Administration in respect of all Group A, B, and C posts and services.
