Officer seeks FIR over fake job letter

The Medical Officer of Health (MOH), Municipal Corporation (MC), has sought an FIR against an unknown person for issuing an appointment letter with her forged signatures.

The fraud came to the notice of the MOH when one Mandeep Singh was appointed to the department on the basis of a counterfeit appointment letter. The letter, bearing the MOH’s forged signature, stated that Mandeep Singh’s joining date was November 15, 2024.

In a letter to the Sector 17 SHO, the MOH stated that fake orders had been issued regarding appointment in MOH office with her forged signature. She requested the SHO to register an FIR against unknown person.
