The Punjab Chief Minister’s Office has termed the media reports regarding challan of CM residence by Chandigarh Municipal Corporation as misleading, baseless and far away from the facts.

A spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s office said that no such challan has been issued for the residence of the Chief Minister. He said the challan has been issued to house number 7 in Sector 2, which is currently with paramilitary force and is no way associated with the Chief Minister.

All the news reports regarding challan of Punjab CM residence are totally incorrect and misleading, he added.

Earlier, it was reported that a challan for littering was issued to officials at Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s residence in Sector 2 here on Saturday morning. The challan was issued in the name of CRPF DSP Harjinder Singh.
