On Dasehra eve, Chandigarh cops issue advisory, list parking spaces

Chandigarh, October 23

In view of the anticipated heavy traffic movement during the Dasehra celebrations in the city, the UT police issued a traffic advisory, besides listing additional parking spaces for the festival season.

Dasehra events will be held at the Parade Ground, Sector 17, Sector 34 ground opposite gurdwara, and Dasehra Ground, Sector 46, among other places.

The police said the public was advised to use below mentioned parking spaces in following government schools for parking of their vehicles till Diwali after closing hours of the schools/colleges and throughout the day during holidays:
