On the run, stabbing case suspect issues threat to victim
A man who allegedly stabbed a woman multiple times in Sector 25 on Tuesday and is currently on the run has issued a threat to her on social media. The accused threatened that he will eliminate the victim if she survived the attack.
The police said they had registered a case of attempt to murder against accused Yash and raids were being conducted to arrest him.
After committing the crime, the accused posted a message on Instagram warning the victim of dire consequences.
Police sources said the victim and accused were in a live-in relationship. However, their relations soured following which the accused allegedly attacked her.
The woman who was attacked in full public view on Tuesday is undergoing treatment at PGI. She was stabbed multiple times on the neck.
A case under Sections 109, 115 (2), 3 (5), 351 (2) of BNS has been registered at Sector 11 police station.
