One more Covid fatality was reported from the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 348. It also saw 36 fresh cases, taking the tally to 18,411, while 58 more patients were cured of the disease. Among the fresh cases, 35 were reported from Mohali (urban) and one from Dhakoli. Of the 18,411 positive cases reported from the district, 17,132 patients have been cured. There are now 931 active cases.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
