Chandigarh: The police arrested a Nayagaon resident, Phal Kataria, 26, while consuming liquor at public place. The incident took place near the Taxi Stand in Sector 36 on December 31. A case under the Punjab Police Act, 2007, and the IPC has been registered. TNS

Chandigarh: A Sector 20 resident, Parmod Kumar, told the the police that a scooterist snatched his mobile phone near the Sector 32-33 rotary on December 31 at about 3:10 pm. A case under Section 379A of the IPC has been registered. TNS
