One held with 1.27 kg ‘ganja’ in Panchkula

The police arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly smuggling ganja from Himachal.
The accused, Noor Alam, who hails from Jagdishpur, Bihar, currently resides in Pritam Colony, Madhawala. He was apprehended with 1 kg 270 grams of ganja near Mannu Dharmkanta in Khokhara village.

According to police, the accused has been transporting ganja from Baddi, Himachal, and distributing it in Madhawala.
A team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector reached his location following a tip-off. The team arrested him and recovered the ganja during a search.
A case was registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act at the Pinjore Police Station. The accused has been sent to four-day remand.
