Flight operations at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport Chandigarh continue to remain affected even as IAF had announced a seven-hour window for flight operations during the runway repair period of October 26 to November 6. Only one flight, from Delhi, arrived today at 10.10 am and the departed at 11.15 am today during the 5am to 12noon window. As a result, the footfall at the airport was minimal on the second day of the truncated schedule. On Monday too, flight operations were affected as airlines operators complained of "very few bookings" while residents complained of high rates.
