Over 110 kilograms of narcotics seized in 44 cases were destroyed in Panchkula by the police. The destroyed substances included 52.3 kg of ganja, 46.3 kg of poppy husk, 9.3 kg of opium plants, 1.5 kg of opium, 494 grams of hashish, 239 grams of heroin, and 0.69 grams of cocaine.
The process was carried out at a hygienic furnace facility in Baghwala village under the supervision of Police Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Arya and Deputy Commissioner of Police Himadri Kaushik. Officials ensured that only drugs related to cases with judicial approval were disposed of to comply with legal guidelines.
