As many as 2,006 candidates appeared for the entrance exam for the Panjab University three-year LLB course today.

Controller of Examinations Prof Jagat Bhushan informed that test was conducted for the LLB seats at the PU Department of Laws, PU Regional Centre Muktsar, PU Regional Centre Ludhiana, and PU Regional Centre Bajwara, Hoshiarpur. The PU Department of Laws has 300 seats, while the PU Regional Centre at Muktsar, the UIL-PU Regional Centre in Ludhiana and the University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU Regional Centre Bajwara, Hoshiarpur, have 60 seats each for the LLB programme.
