MC Commissioner KK Yadav said, “We have advertised these posts and they will soon be filled.”

According to the MC recruitment notice, all details regarding the hiring will be available on its website from April 8. Interested candidates will be able to apply between April 8 and May 3. The last date for submission of fee will be May 5. Only online applications will be accepted.

An MC official said it was way back in 2010 that regular vacancies were filled. Then, firemen, SDEs and JEs were appointed. For other posts, last regular recruitment was done in 2004. For the past few years, the MC has been hiring on contractual and outsourcing basis. “The posts are being filled so that these don’t get lapsed,” said an official.
