The programme commenced with the display of an educational video titled “From Discovery to Recovery: A Scientific Journey”, which highlighted how the ozone hole over Antarctica was discovered and how international efforts had led to its gradual recovery. The video provided students with scientific insights in an engaging manner.

Following the video, the department launched specially prepared material on ozone protection, which was distributed among the students. The pamphlet contained information about the importance of the ozone layer, its role in protecting life on Earth and details of the Montreal Protocol.
