Panchkula DC hears out residents at ‘samadhan shivir’

Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg on Monday heard 69 different problems of people as part of the Haryana Government’s ‘samadhan shivir’ programme.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials of the electricity department to resolve all electricity related complaints of people of rural area on priority and warned of strict action against officials who cause delay in the work and are found negligent.
Garg took immediate cognisance of a complaint of a resident of Bhoj Tipra village who had come to the camp for the second time with a problem concerned with installation of an electricity meter. The DC directed the officials to inspect the spot by evening and submit a report to his office.
The Deputy Commissioner on a compliant of a resident of Bhoj Naggal regarding construction of an irrigation tank, directed the officials concerned to inspect the related spot and also submit a report to his office.
He said people whose income is wrongly mentioned in their family ID cards should submit an income declaration form to the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner to make the correction.
He was joined by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, SDM Gaurav Chauhan, City Magistrate Vishwanath Singh, District Revenue Officer Dr Kuldeep Singh, DWO Vishal Saini, Grievance Redressal Committee members Rajendra Nuniwal and SP Gupta and other officials.
