The other one was being run in Sector 6. He said efforts would be made to open a Jan Aushadhi Kendra at the Civil Hospital, Sector 6.

The Speaker said these centres should be widely publicised so that people could take advantage of generic medicines available at subsidised rates. He said medicines available at Jan Aushadhi Kendras were certified by the World Health Organization and the GMP and no one could question their quality.
