Panchkula gets new DC, civic body commissioner
In fresh transfers after the formation of new government in Haryana, Panchkula today got two new appointments — Deputy Commissioner and Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg has been replaced by Haryana cadre’s 2014-batch IAS officer Monika Gupta who is currently posted as Mahendrgarh DC. On the other hand, 2018-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer Aparajita who is currently the Ambala Additional Deputy Commissioner has replaced Sachin Gupta as the MC Commissioner.
On Saturday itself, a 2003-batch IPS officer, Rakesh Kumar Arya, had taken over as the new Panchkula Police Commissioner, replacing Sibash Kabiraj.
