After destroying narcotics, DCP Srishti Gupta engaged with villagers from the Bagwala region to discuss the local drug situation. She appealed to the public to remain vigilant and report any information related to drug trafficking or abuse to the police. She also encouraged families to seek help if a loved one was struggling with addiction, assuring that support in the form of treatment, rehabilitation and counselling is available.
She emphasised that the fight against drugs was not just the police’s responsibility, but a collective one requiring active participation from every citizen.
