Panchkula police issue traffic advisory ahead of bridge inauguration

Residents, commuters, and vehicle users are requested to avoid certain routes on April 19

In light of the formal inauguration of the newly constructed Ghaggar Bridge near Sector 26/27 by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on April 19, the police have issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow and security during the event.

According to City Traffic In-Charge Inspector Sunil Kumar, the road connecting Sector 20/21 via Peer Muchalla to the new Ghaggar Bridge, which links to the Yamunanagar Highway near Sector 26/27, will remain completely closed on the day of the inauguration.

Residents, commuters, and vehicle users are requested to avoid the route on April 19. The traffic police has arranged alternative routes to facilitate uninterrupted travel. Personnel will be deployed at major intersections to guide and assist commuters.

They are also advised to plan their travel in advance and follow the traffic guidelines to avoid inconvenience.
