UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore has constituted an 11-member committee to assess ground water resources of the city.

The state-level committee will assess ground water recharge in accordance with the Ground Water Resources Estimation Methodology-2015 and estimate the status of utilisation of the annual extractable ground water resource. The committee will submit its report by February 28 next year.
