Panel to okay lift design for Chandigarh Housing Board houses
Chandigarh, July 23
Giving some relief, members of the committee of the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) have decided that the Plan Approval Committee (lower) would finalise the design and give it to the allottees for installing the lifts in multi-storied houses constructed by the CHB.
However, a 15-day notice will be issued to the rest of the allottees of the block for contributing proportionate cost in case they intend to use the lift before scrutiny of plans.
Earlier, the allottees were allowed to construct lifts as per the design approved by the online building plan approval system.
