Panjab University has secured the second Runner-Up Champion Trophy at the 38th AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival hosted by Amity University, Noida. This is the first time the university has achieved a podium finish at the national event.

The PU students excelled across various categories. The team from GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, comprising Mahin Vaidya, Arshiya Verma, Khushi Sehgal, Eishit Goel, Tanmay Goel and Garv Rajora secured first place in the skit competition. Esha from DAV College, Sector 10, won first place in western vocal solo.

Neelam from Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, secured first place in mehndi designing. The installation team of Sahil and Prateek Dutt Sharma from Government College of Art, Sector 10, Chandigarh, Mohammad Atif from GGDSD College, Sector 32, and Achom Lamnganba from DAV College, Sector 10, secured second place.

In one-act play, Simran, Kanak and Divyanshu from GGDSD College secured third place. The group song Indian team featuring Swar Sharma, Esha, Aditya Bhagra, Vanshika, Jasagam Kaur and Pragati from DAV College, Sector 10, finished third. In solo performances, Hargunpreet from Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, secured fourth place in Classical vocal solo, while Aditya Bhagra from DAV College, Sector 10, secured fourth place in western instrumental solo.
