The Investor Summit 2025, organised by the technology enabling centre of Panjab University, concluded successfully, fostering early-stage investments and startup growth.

The three-day summit brought together 17 startups, 25 investors and key industry leaders. Many showcased ventures were based on research and patented technologies from premier Indian institutions. Investors, including MentorX, Ludhiana Angel Network, Punjab Angels Network, Anthill and Ekara Financial Services, showed interest in startups like Vizzibble and Cit-Peels. DACH Biotec and NanoKem Innovation secured Rs 5 lakh each in seed funding from the centre for industry-institute partnership programme of Panjab University.

Seventeen startups pitched their ideas to investors, including venture capitalists, incubators, and corporate funding bodies. The event also facilitated industry-academia collaborations and technology transfers.

TEC prepared startups for investor engagement through a structured training program. CIIPP awarded direct funding of Rs 5 lakh each to two startups founded by PU faculty, supporting academic entrepreneurship.

Prominent investment firms and angel networks, including Chandigarh Angels Network, BioRX Venture Advisors, Modulor Capital, The Startup Lab, Speciale Invest, and Inflexor Ventures, participated. Independent investors such as Athul Pasricha, Deepak Sharma, and Lalit Bansal also engaged with startups.

With strong investor participation and startup engagements, the summit reinforced its role in strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem. It concluded on a high note, setting the stage for future growth and collaboration.
