After the Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised foot march on Monday to extend gratitude to the students of Panjab University for voting in elections held to the student council, the newly-elected independent president Anurag Dalal also took out a march distributing ladoos in PU departments.

Anurag, who was elected to the post of Panjab University Campus Student Council president by a margin of 303 votes by defeating CYSS candidate Prince Chaudhary, started his thanksgiving march from the Chemistry Department, where he is enrolled as a research scholar. He then proceeded towards the Arts Blocks, Department of Laws, Botany Department, Zoology Department, Anthropology Department, ending it at Computer Science Department.
