“The offices will function with 50 per cent staff strength for six days a week, including Saturday. However, the controlling officers/heads of the branches/departments may call the staff beyond 2 pm depending upon the exigency of the work under staggered timings and ensuring that the attendance of staff at any time should not exceed the stipulated limit of 50 per cent of the strength. The remaining non-attending 50 per cent staff will work from home under the instructions of their controlling officers and they will remain available through e-modes, officers of the level of the office superintendent and above will attend the office on a daily basis,” said a spokesperson.

Staff members have been asked not to leave the station without the prior sanction of the controlling officer. — TNS
