Panjab varsity to hold odd semester exams online

Panjab University authorities have finally taken the decision to conduct the coming odd semester examinations in the online mode. The examinations are scheduled to be held later this month.

“The detailed instructions for the students will be shared subsequently,” said Dr Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examination, PU. The practical examinations of undergraduate courses will be conducted between December 17 and 21, and for the postgraduate courses, the examinations will be conducted between December 20 and 24.

The theory examinations of undergraduate courses will start from December 22 and the examinations of postgraduate courses will start from December 27, said one of the officials.

Earlier, amid protests by various student political parties, a committee had recommended that these examinations be conducted online.
