Chandigarh, November 10

The Punjab Engineering College (PEC) chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Headquarters (USA) has selected Dr Har Amrit Singh Sandhu (Asst Prof, PEC) for the Outstanding Faculty Adviser Award and Nancy Loat (4th year student of PEC) for the Student Leadership Award respectively for 2020.

These awards were announced after scrutiny of technical reports of almost 450 international student chapters across the globe. These awards are given to only three faculty members and six students across the globe. Dr Sandhu bagged this award in 2016 too.
