Peddler awarded imprisonment for over 3 yrs

A local court has convicted a drug peddler and sentenced him to three-and-a-half years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of

Rs 30,000 on him.

The accused, who has been identified as Veer Inder Kumar, was arrested by the Mandi Gobindgarh Police on August 20, 2019, near the Nasrali Railway Bridge and 200 intoxicant pills were recovered from his possession.

After hearing both the parties, the court conivcted him in the case.
