Sharing further details, Agarwal said the police and administration took action to demolish the illegal construction built by drug smuggler Salamdin in Ghullu Majra of Amloh with drug money. He was facing three cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, as the matter was brought to the notice of the administration by the Gram Panchayat.

After undertaking the due procedure, action was taken to send a strong message to those involved in selling drugs.

The SSP urged the people to use the “Safe Punjab Helpline” to provide confidential information about drugs. He said earlier three properties built with drug money had been demolished in the Amloh constituency and one in the Bassi Pathana constituency.
