Pension Adalat held at Mohali

More than 43 applications were recieved during the Pension Adalat at District Administrative Complex, Sector 76 in Mohali today. The complaints of pensioners from various departments of the state government were heard in the presence of the sanctioning authorities or DDOs from their respective departments.

Manisha Toor, Deputy Accountant General (A&E) Punjab, Bharat Singh Bhandari, Senior Accounts Officer, Mukesh Sherawat, Assistant Accounts Officer and DDO level officers from various departments addressed the issues.

The Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Punjab, Chandigarh, in coordination with the district administration organised the Pension Adalat from 11 am to 3pm.

The main aim of the endeavour was to redress grievances of the pensioners and family pensioners of the state government employees. Assistant Commissioner Ankita Kansal saod.
